I wanted to make a manly afghan for a friend that lost everything in a fire. I chose a ripple pattern because of the strong lines and neutral colors to keep it understated.

As always, I put my own spin on the pattern. I used a size P Hook and two strands of worsted (size 4) yarn in Red Heart Aspen and TLC Heathers Green.
